It is a long valley that stretches for about 20 km from the vicinity of Ajiro, Akiruno City to the Kita-Akigawa River and the Minami-Akigawa River in the Hinohara area. The view from the 96-meter-long Ishibunebashi Bridge is outstanding. In the Hinode area, located north of the Akiruno area, Mt. Hinode is popular as a scenic spot. The mountain is located at the east end of Chichibu Tama Kai National Park. On clear days, Mt. Tsukuba, the Boso Peninsula, skyscrapers in the city center, Yokohama, and Enoshima Island are visible.
