Setagaya City, located at the southwest end of the 23 wards of Tokyo, has the second largest area of all the cities. Lush green spots, such as Setagaya Park, where there is a fountain and a mini-steam locomotive runs on holidays, Kinuta Park and Komazawa Olympic Park, and Todoroki Valley, the only valley in the 23 wards of Tokyo, are places where locals can relax. The area also has cultural facilities such as Setagaya Art Museum, Setagaya Literary Museum, theaters, galleries, and live music clubs. Setagaya Boroichi (flea market) is a traditional event with stalls selling antiques, second-hand clothes, and daily necessities, which has been held since 1578.
